Well hello there, readers!
So, a few things. I just redesigned this blog, and I sincerely hope that you're enjoying it. I will be playing around with the formatting and the coloration of everything, so please leave me comments with your feedback and any suggestions that you may have. I get bad, bad, baaaaad cases of Creative Brain in the middle of the night, and things like "oh let's recreate a whole new background in Photoshop!" happen, and then I don't sleep... so an objective, well-rested opinion is always appreciated!
On a related note, my dad just got me Photoshop CS5.1 as a graduation gift - I am the happiest happy that ever did happy all over the place!!! I've been having so much fun re-editing images (like the occasional photo nerd that I am) and will be playing around with my blog background as a result of that. I'd also like to do more photo shoots soon, so if you're ever in the market for a fun afternoon being a fashion model, let's dance in the sunlight, you and me.
Speaking of Graduation - May 5th, 2012, will be my last day as a JMU Duke. I am both heartbroken and absolutely exhilarated. After the 11AM ceremony, I will officially have graduated... and then start summer classes a week later in order to make my degree mean something. I have been seriously sick the past week, so I haven't had a lot of energy to think about how my life will be different in just a week and some change. More on that later.
I'll be posting more poetry very soon, once I have the time to sit down and actually finish the 8... no, 9... no, 10... pieces that need an ending. And a beginning. And really, all of the other two hundred and three bones in the skeletons. But those will come - I know they will.
In the meantime, I hope that you are enjoying yourself, wherever you are, and I can't wait to have you back here again! Enjoy yourself, whatever you are doing and wherever you may be.
